Transfer case shuddering after oil change- help pls

No problems before oil drain of TC

1-drained Tc
2-no debris or metal in old oil just brown no burn smell
3- I checked on the net and found ATF Dexron 6 is ok, so I used Motul 100% syn Dexron 6
4-poured 1.690 qt
5-inverted bottom bolt with top bolt ( I guess they are the same?)
6- no leaks at all since 3 days
7- test drove it for 40 miles no problem
8- wife took it in the morning heavy traffic it started shuddering heavily + unreadable dtc codes on scan gauge
9-stopped the car disconnected battery for 5 minutes.
10-CAR started with no problem
11-drove it for another 30 miles it repeated STEP 8 to 10

What should I do?

Overfilled, under filled, not compatible oil?

I have in the idea of draining it again, measure the exacte amount of oil that was in it (only 70 mile on it) and see if the volume is ok.
Refill with a new oil.

I am lost.
Help is greatly appreciated, it is our daily car

you fill the TC until oil starts spilling from the fill hole. you also might want to check your battery connectors for corrosion.

This bulletin is being revised to update information. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 04-07-30-037D (Section 07 - Transmission/Transaxle). MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS / TRANSFER CASES and POWER STEERING
The content of this bulletin does not apply to manual transmissions or transfer cases. Any vehicle that previously required DEXRON(R)-III for a manual transmission or transfer case should now use P/N 88861800. This fluid is labeled Manual Transmission and Transfer Case Fluid. Some manual transmissions and transfer cases require a different fluid. Appropriate references should be checked when servicing any of these components.
Power Steering Systems should now use P/N 9985010 labeled Power Steering Fluid.
Consult the Parts Catalog, Owner's Manual, or Service Information (SI) for fluid recommendations.
Some of our customers and/or General Motors dealerships/Saturn Retailers may have some concerns with DEXRON(R)-VI and DEXRON(R)-III Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) and transmission warranty claims. DEXRON(R)-VI is the only approved fluid for warranty repairs for General Motors transmissions/transaxles requiring DEXRON(R)-III and/or prior DEXRON(R) transmission fluids (except as noted above). Please remember that the clean oil reservoirs of the J-45096 - Flushing and Flow Tester machine should be purged of DEXRON(R)-III and filled with DEXRON(R)-VI for testing, flushing or filling General Motors transmissions/transaxles (except as noted above).
DEXRON(R)-VI can be used in any proportion in past model vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission/transaxle in place of DEXRON(R)-III (i.e. topping off the fluid in the event of a repair or fluid change). DEXRON(R)-VI is also compatible with any former version of DEXRON(R) for use in automatic transmissions/transaxles.
DEXRON(R)-VI ATF
General Motors Powertrain has upgraded to DEXRON(R)-VI ATF with the start of 2006 vehicle production.
Current and prior automatic transmission models that had used DEXRON(R)-III must now only use DEXRON(R)-VI.
All 2006 and future model transmissions that use DEXRON(R)-VI are to be serviced ONLY with DEXRON(R)-VI fluid.
DEXRON(R)-VI is an improvement over DEXRON(R)-III in the following areas:

Dexron VI; Full Synthetic

Alibou 09-23-2019 07:51 PM

Just found this:
This comes from prior issue (2006) of GM Techlink service news and it may applicable to current models.
Quote:
This information applies to 2007 and prior GM passenger cars and trucks.

Dexron III is being phased out as a product name. It is being renamed Manual Transmission Fluid and carries p/n 88861800 U.S. (88861801 Canada).

If fluid p/n 88861800 U.S. (88861801 Canada) is not yet available when servicing a manual transmission or transfer case, Dexron III can be used in its place.

DO NOT use Dexron VI in place of manual transmission fluid in any manual transmissions or transfer cases that specify Dexron III, as a failure may result.
