?, tranny fluid change

im a little nervous about this..
are you guys reusing the gasket?
? torque, do you go around just once?, since it seems that pan gaskets compress and you can torque again?.
i fear doing to much.

how do i know when its right.

im doing the tubing drain that john described a while back. cant find the orig post but i printed it b4.

done!! i used a lump of putty to keep the tiny clip from going "boing" and getting lost in my junk filled barn.
my "inch pound tq wrench felt tight at 100,not 144 so i left it a little loose, no leaks. ill check it tomorrow.

i put a 3 ft tubing on the tr tubing and tied it to a bucket on the side by the front tire.
i stood outside and ran it till it sputtered, killed it and did the rest, the pan, etc.

i contnued pumping out the dirt till i saw red.
the toughest part is getting the tubing and clip back in properly.

it is ez to NOT get the tubing all the way in. instant disaster later!! make sure its clipped solid.

I replace the filter which normally come with a new gasket. there is no need to go around more than once.

i went slow a few times and was still a little low.
it felt tight and i left it that way. no leaks so ill watch it.
id rather be a little lite on torque with no leaks.
