Default Removing hard top and mounting a soft top.

have seen the schematics from AMG and looks like the open top and hard top have the same frame and so forth but obviously have a top mounted..

has anyone removed a hard top and then tried to mount a soft top? i heard their is a front seal or something that is difficult to source?

any details/help would be appreciated..

The roll bar heights are different and you would need the side mounting as well as the front track.

luckily the top i found comes w/ new rollbar.. i assume then its just the front track thats the issue.. i've heard difficult to find.

removing the roof looks to unbolt and then their is im sure caulk/sealant...

this is what im trying to achieve (saw on road today) and below it the schematic from AMG showing removal of top..

There are side attachment tracks down both sides above the doors.
