I just bought my new boat and I was planning on taking it to the lake today, can anybody send me a picture of where the wires would be to hook up the trailer lights? I bought a hookup to attach to a plug or something that should already be there. If anybody can send me a picture or explain in detail that would be great. Thanks

 

Umm, I have the factory tow package and the connector is under the rear bumper just a couple of inches to the left of the tow receptacle. Mine was a GM round 7 pin connector so I had to buy an adaptor for my trailer wiring.

 

Did your H3 come with the tow package or did you get an aftermarket hitch?

 

I have the same set up. It sounds like his H3 didn't come with the tow package. I am not an expert but I wonder if he could find an H3 that does have the package and trace the harness back and see where it connects to the main wiring. It maybe that he could buy a factory or after market harness that would hook right in. I bet the connection is there somewhere.

 

I am having the same problem. No factory tow, added a Reese hitch, bought a wiring harness to plug in to factory harness plug, but cannot find it. I will trace it on my friend's H3 and see if that will help. In the mean time, please let me know if you found it. Thanks!
