Tire Pressure Monitor Problem

Tire Pressure Monitor Problem
So, my TPMS sensor warning message has been coming on for about 3 months now, every time I drive. I have changed the pressure in all tires, including the spare, from a low of 30 to a high of 44. It still comes on no matter what. Right now they are all at 38 lbs.
Anyone know of a quick fix so I don't have to take it to the dealership right now? Is there a fuse dedicated to the TPMS that I can remove? I keep a check on my tires anyway, so the warning message is driving me nuts. Thanks

Try doing the TPMS matching process described in your owners manual. If you don't have an owners manual, one can be downloaded at hummer.com If the relearn doesn't work, you may have a bad sensor. The system only reads the 4 tires on the ground and not the spare position. Starting in mid 07, the spare did not come with a sensor. Tires with sensors will have a metal valve stem. Good luck

My H3 just 1 week ago said service TPM on the dash. It does not keep coming on though and about 2 months ago it said I had low tire pressure in one of my tires but when checked had the adequate amount of pressure. The manual states if it says "service TPM" then it means the sensor is bad. As usual with sensors.

I bought brand new ones and they still don't communicate with the truck. I have two H3s and deal with this issue all the time in both trucks

Thanks for sharing the info. I tried the matching process and it seemed to work on 3 tires, but not on the driver's side rear - the truck never beeped to even recognize that tire sensor (as it did for the others). So I think I have a dead or malfunctioned sensor there.
Guess we will be going to the dealership.

I think it's the cold weather.. Tires lose a lb or so when its cold out.. I Deal with the same problem every time it's cold out.. After a few miles, and or the temps outside go up.. It never comes on (unless the sensor is bad).
