Default spare radio
i have a spare , new monsoon 6 disc head. can i get it programmed so both work in my h3? its new but untested. like to have a working spare.

yeah i could sell it but,,,the other would crap out next week!!

You will need a dealer to program your vin in the radio. Doesn’t cost much. Hook it up and have it ready. They program through the obd port.

Yes, you can switch them back and forth as long as your vin is programmed in the head unit. It is an anti theft feature of the radio to prevent people from getting free upgraded radios.
