Replacement Front Axel Assys (GM8240 or GM8400?)

I've got a torn CV boot on my 2009 Alpha and its cheaper to replace the whole axle assembly rather than just the boot. I see listings for two part numbers and can't find any info on the differences.

GM8240 or GM8400

Anyone know the difference?

Go to RockAuto and use their drill down list. ACDelco, skip the other brands, you will thank me later. You want the revised version that was used on all 2009+ H3s, which RA has.

About 1/4". I still have the OEM cv axles on my '07, still in perfect shape, yet I never cranked my tbars.

Do you have the link to Google? Ha! I don't use Google, and my search engine didn't show much for those GMxxx #s.
