Rear Clunking Noise V2.0
OK, Doc. Not gonna post to OLD thread ...
However, it did come in handy for, investigating my noise. In checking the rear door, I found, a number of loose bolts. On the plate, mounted on the body, one bolt was only finger tight, and the other was real loose. On the matching plate, mounted on the door, One was kinda loose. The bolts for the latch, on the door, were also loose. I was expecting to be able to adjust, something, anything. But they are all solid mounting points. Hopefully, tightening all those bolts will get rid of the clunking noise. Will report after driving a bit. Thanks, to all that contributed to that "Old thread". EJ |
Pot holes, snow and ice bumps, even speed bumps can't make it clunk, anymore.
Thanks, again, to the others that posted to the old thread. Love this forum, EJ |
