Quick question about Front Bumpers

I noticed that on some of the H3's, the front part of the bumper (where the tow hooks are) is sometimes gray. On mine, and several others are black. Why are some different? I like the gray look, seems to blend in better with the skid plate. Do you know what I mean?

I believe in 2008 and up model years , they changed it to silver.

.....and back to black in 2010.

Yep, RKS is correct!

2006 - 2007 Black
2008 - 2009 Silver
2010 back to Black

And..... to go with that nose job:

1st design splash guard (front skid) 2006-2007
2nd design 2008 and up

Removal for painting/swapping a 2008/09 for a 10 is easy, see this old thread https://www.hummerforums.com/forum/h...uestion-22499/

An 06/07 will not fit on the 08s & up without the 1st design front skid also being changed.

Yeah, I like the black better, too. I took my silver bumper off my '08 and put on a black DeFilice winch bumper.
