Default Help

My 06 H3 seems to make moaning/groaning noise and acts as if it has lost power or about to stall when the steering wheel is turned all the way in either direction. Any hints or ideas as to where to start?
Thanks in advance. I just recently purchased the vehicle a little over a week ago and haven't had time to do much with it yet. It had several codes stored after I purchased it:

C0045 LR Wheel speed sensor circuit
P0014 Exhuast cam position system performance
P0045 EVAP system leak
P0449EVAP system vent control circuit

I did not know if one of these codes would contribute to this issue or not. Otherwise the vehicle seems solid and runs fairly smooth with 218,000 miles. Am planning on changing the coils and plugs, changing tranny and differential fluids and flushing the radiator. Body has some rust around 3 of the 4 door handles and a few other small spots which I hope to be able to touch up. I am new to the group so any advice would be much appreciated!!

Turning the steering wheel to full lock with an H3 is different than doing that with a Mini Van. The H3 steering radius is tight to help navigate off road obstacles, tighter than you need to turn it on pavement.... so don't. Problem solved.

The moaning/groaning.... if you think that is steering pump related, pull the dipstick to the Steering Fluid Reservoir and check the level and quality of fluid.

Easy stuff first.

Look up in the FAQ's...===> Acts like it wants to stall/rough idle.
