No sighting of another H3 on a 1200 mile trip.
I could not believe it--- I Drove 1200 miles from Florida to Boston on I-95 last week & I did not see another H3 on my entire trip on the HWY???
I finally saw another H3, two days after I arrived in Boston. |
Drove my 6 miles to work this morning, and another H3 was going the opposite direction. Just a matter of where you are I guess.
I was gonna ride the Wide Glide today but gotta pick up carry out on the way home. That's pretty hard to do on a bike with no bags or rack. :D |
I might see one a week. A couple days ago I saw 2 in one day.....couldn't believe it! They're getting rarer! :D
|
well there getting rarer because between the higher milage and water intrusions as they get older it gets harder to keep them on the roads.
GM was not thinking longevity at the time they where produced |
Consumer Reports states the average life expectancy of a new vehicle these days is around 8 years or 150,000 miles. Of course, some well-built vehicles can go 15+ years and 300,000+miles, if properly maintained.

Here in CT, they're still a near daily sighting and one of my local FedEx's has a birch white one with full decals which is neat to see driving around...
|
Before I got mine I used to see them everyday. Now I have to actively look for them. Go figure
|
As time passes. They will become harder to find...
Discontinued now for some time. Expect to see less over time. |
I drove to Atlanta & back to Florida last week.
I saw zero H3's on the 950 mile HWY round trip, but I did see 3 H3's while driving around in Atlanta for a week.. |
I see H3's every other day here in FL.
And a T once in a month or two. There are two of them local to me it turns out. |
