New/Used Wheels and TPS Sensors
Looking to swap out the wheels on my '07 H3, but not wanting to break down my stock wheels and steal the sensors. Can I buy wheels and install H3 wheels sensors from another H3 or buy some off ebay and just calibrate them? Is there anything special I need to do. Thanks!

Yes you can buy the H3 sensors, and then do the TPMS programming per the owner's manual.
Essentially you put the new wheels on, and then put the truck in the sensor matching process, start w/ driver side front and start letting air out for at least 10 seconds until the horn chirps, go to the driver side front, repeat all the way round. The spare is not monitored so skip that.
Many tire shops can do it faster with a special gizmo to set it up.

I wasn't for sure if they would work right or if they had to be factory programmed for some reason. Will these work off a Chevy Colorado?

I've learned well how to redo my own TPS sensors since we had alot of hail damage in our town this last summer and I have had quite a few flats over the past few months! There seems to be alot of nails on the road!

I have added a fith TPS to my full size spare that way the spare tire can be added to the roation . Pulled it off of a Colorado myself and works like a charm. I only payed $ 18 for mine and they wanted 58 at the dealership.

So on the question of wheels/tires, what is a good price for (5) stock aluminum wheels and (5) low mileage(under 3K miles) Duelers (285/75-16). I was wanting to upgrade to 285's anyway and looks like 4 will run me about $800 or so. I can get all 5 tires and stock wheels for under $800. Is that a decent price?
I also found (5) chrome solid 7 spoke rims with 265's minus the pressure sensors for around $700. I really like the chrome 7 spoke solid rims, but I hate to buy another set of 265's.
