My H3 is shorter than everyone elses :(
I've had a sneaking suspicion that my suspension might be riding a little low compared to other H3's. I first noticed a month or two ago when parked next another H3, and tonight I came out of Home Depot to find another H3 parked next to mine.
I got in and looked over, and low and behold his was noticeably higher than mine, by at least an inch.
So I got curious when I got home and go out the tape measure. In the rear I'm only sitting at like 23, and about 22 1/2 in the front.
Front torsion lifts are often talked about, but how do I go about getting the *** end of this thing up to around 24?

They definitely had 265's.
I hope I'm not blowing out my rear leaf springs hauling this beast around.
Between the sub box, the extra batteries, and the amps, its probably an extra 150LBs+ in the back. Do I have the option of upgrading my rear suspension, or is it pretty much new leaf springs and that's it. Is there a way to crank it up a bit like in the front?

Ok I just got home and double checked, I'm sitting at 23 even in the back. What should I be at, and if 23 is too low, what could be causing it?
I'm kinda bummed out now, was looking forward to leveling it this weekend but I feel like there's no point if I'm only gonna be able to take the front up to 23....

I looked at an 07 Tactical Edition yesterday in the same color as my 07 Adventure. The Tactical wasn't cranked and had 265's and definitely and felt smaller/shorter than my T-bar cranked Adventure. That may have been part of it. The other is probably in that speaker enclosure. When I had been carrying rocks home for the garden I had about 300-400 lbs in the back for several trips and could feel the springs compress a little. Empty it felt like the leaf springs sit almost non-compressed and with a load or trailer that it doesn't top out as much on the up travel. Sorry, no way to crank the rear up but you can get some bars that drop the leaf spring mounts a little.

I have a 07 TE, and it sits at 24 1/4 in the rear...it's a little higher on the left but that is due to the amount of fuel in the tank

I'd say that it has to do with the big a** box in the back. Before you started making any purchases, it might be wise to remove the box and re-check your measurements. I know that could be a hassle, so you could leave it and not worry...it'll be easier to "level" off the front
