That has to be the BEST H3 winch install ever, looks like a factory fitted job mate.
I have been thinking about a similar set up, but did not know where to start. This might just push me over the edge to do it. Where did you get the plate that you welded to the chassis that the winch is mounted on?? What brand winch is it?? Would also love to see more photos and photos of the modded plastic bar, how did you do that?? |
Have found the winch mounting plates, $60 delivered on eBay, just got to take some measurements of the Hummer today and order the right one.
Did not know these plates existed, it will make the install a lot easier than having to fabricate from scratch:) PS just wondering do you guys have to run front number plates?? As I see plenty of Hummers on here with no front plates?? |
I just used a plate from E-bay & cut to fit, lol.
No front plate here. |
Aussie H3, here in the states it depends on the state laws. Each state is different regarding plates, bumper height, light covers, light colors, tires sticking past the wheel wells, etc.
|
That is so strange, over here all cars must run front and rear registration/number plates.
Over here laws differ slightly from state to state, but not enough to worry about really. |
Pure sexiness....
If you're ever in SW Florida....this would be awesome. |
Very clean looking install.
Couple of questions: How do you access the clutch lever? Where do you plug into the control box? |

Couple of questions: How do you access the clutch lever? Where do you plug into the control box? As far as the controls...
