Cool

Why 23"? You could go higher ya know. Personally, I would get the H3's offroad/adventure shocks and a couple of washers, if extended length bothers you, instead of the Bilsteins which are longer but softer.

Good choice on the Bilstein's....I went with the 1500's and the ride is great on 35's

Hello and Welcome from MI!

Please, use the SEARCH function at the top of this page and enter "torsion bar bilstein". There are about 50 Threads on this exact subject. Read through them and see if they answer any of your questions and concerns.

i did read through them, thats why i asked about the bilstein hd's specifically as it seems as if there is not alot reviews of people that have used them. i may just use the 5100's instead.

Sorry about that! By the way Bilstein does not stand behind their shocks. I had a 5100 leak with only 12k on it and the warranty was denied because I used the vehicle OffRoad!!!! Even though the website states: "ideal for heavy hauling or occasional off-road use".

I haven't seen a listing for a Bilstein HD for the H3 (Stock or "t-bar cranked") so I assumed you ment the 5100s. The only options as of right now are the :

The list above is directly from Bilstein/Cognito. I would ask a lot of questions or get the model # and look them up on the Bilstein/Cognito site and see if they match the length, and the mounts (upper and lower) of the above mentioned shocks.

Thumbs up

We did the T-bar lift and have it at 23-1/2". Installed the 5100's with 1/2" extended bump stops. Also installed Bilsteins on the rear. Rides great and I would recommend this to anyone wanting to level their rig.
