I'm not sure, but I think that's a security measure so that the whole car isn't unsecured,and I haven't seen anyway in the manual to change it.

 

My daughter, 18 at the time, parked my previous Corvette in someone elses garage. Only problem was the garage door was down and their cars were in the garage. Oh yeah, she didn't know them. She doesn't drive my new Corvette or the Hummers now.

 

i too would like the feature of unlocking all the doors with 1 press of the button. my ifiniti had the option of changing it from one press to two in the computer console. any way of doing this on the h3?

 

I personally like the horn beep when locking; at least I know that it did lock.

 

I tried changing the setting on my Aussie'07 H3 but it doesnt change anything on RFA 2 or RFA 3 only seems to have RFA 1 and RFA 4 even when u select RFA 3 the horn doesnt sound. Is there a fuse or anything like that that it might need or something.

Same to me, I changed all options but still no Horn when I close doors
Maybe is blocked for Europe restriction? why here no others cars has this BEEP function active.. never heard like in the US..
I personally like it so much.. Someone could help me/us ?

 

I think its an ego thing,,,think of your neighbors sleeping,UNTILL, you get home!
I killed by beep the bay I bought my h3, just watch the lights.
imagine if 20 people in the neighborhood had a beeper and all got home at slightly different times!!,,a zoo,imho

about posting on old threads,im baffled why doc gets hyper about it.
I spent hours searching for old threads on door handles and mirror covers. I found nothing and i know it has been discussed at lenghth here. I cant find the old stuff so I starting new threads and that got me nothing so, "whats a mother to do"!! as the old commercial said.

id love to have someone bring up the old missing thread about mirrors and door handles, im lost on the mirrors. I stumbled into the handle info.

If the answer is 5 yrs old it will still work today huh.
