RE: Lower grill lights / marker lights
lower grill lights from the factory are a rip off, they want like $400+ don't they? I made these and they look better than the square ones offered by the factory IMO.

I saw the price somewhere for an oem one with square lights, similiar to the one Dilo posted awhile back. it was like $475 and had rectangle lights.

Just checked it's $450.00

Do what imprtkiller did and just get some aftermarket ones. Not only will you save a ton, they will probably be a much better light, in my humble opinion.

Last I checked from my dealer, they said that those lights are on the websites, but they aren't available from the factory, not even as an order. The salesman was a little upset about that because he has had several customers who have wanted to order them.

I got mine on eBay for $275 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=290010936445). I know a few on the forum that got them a tiny bit cheaper.

importkiller how did you bolt them on???

RE: Lower grill lights / marker lights
actually it was a complete custom install. I had to cut holes in the stainless lower grill cover to fit the lights basket, then I took the lights apart and threw away the back half cover (they were round lights) put the light through the hole in the grill cover so it sits flush and attached a back cover I made to the back of the light to hold it tight. Some high temp silicone to make it water tight and thats it...oh yea also had to cut the hell out of the stock plastic lower grill to make it all fit. All told it took about 6 hours doing and about two days planning...was hard cutting into a new hummer.:D
