Lift kit in 2021
 

Hi everyone!

I have recently been looking for a lift kit, but when i check the forums, all of them are outdated, for example the Rancho kit does not exist anymore.

So I was wondering if there was any kit available to lift the H3, or if a kit for another vehicle would work?

What do you mean no? Surely you are not saying that it is impossible to lift a Hummer, since many people still do it.

If you did ANY research what so ever you would know that an "actual" lift kit is no longer made.

Rancho and Tough Country made a 4" lift. Tough Country stopped making them in 2008ish. Rancho stopped somewhere around 2017. Rancho found some NOS kits in a warehouse and sold the remaining 25 kits back in 2019.:cool:

If you can find a Rancho or Tough Country on an existing vehicle then you can buy that vehicle and have a lift kit.
You can also go with a SAS/SOA (Solid Axle Swap/Spring Over rear Axle). Those are pretty much 100% custom fabbed and start around $10K to $25K depending on your part choices.

So, as you can see the answer above to 99% of the people who ask is NO.

Turn your torsion bar bolts, level the H3, put some 35s on and call it a day. ;)

If you had read ANY of my post what so ever like you like to say, you would see that I ALREADY know that the rancho and such do not exist anymore, and I already made some research.

Which is exactly why I made the post. Because my research gave me no results.

No.... as in there are NO lift kits, and No as in NO a lift kit for some other vehicle will not work on any H3. You did NOT ask for ways to do it, you asked if there were any lift kits, and if a lift kit for something else would work.

If you would of asked is there any way to lift an H3, the answer would have been as Tainter put it... SAS/SOA, but that ain't a "lift kit".

Oh boy, one of them, they, theirs (not sure on what).
Sorry, if you want to be coddled and live in the world of Sasquatch ridding on a unicorn the answer is still NO.
Plenty of constructive information in my last post. Maybe you have a hard time with straight forward facts and prefer a softer less facts more touchy feely approach which may make you feel better but has no concrete information? Sorry, not my cup of tea, mate.

The ONLY people who still lift a Hummer H3 are doing it in 1 of 2 ways; Either finding a now non-existent Rancho kit, or do a SAS/SOA conversion (major money/work). Other than a simple torsion bar crank, your only other option is a body lift, which is limited to 1" (or custom made 1 1/2" - 2").

BTW, suggesting the Doc "doesn't know" is not a valid statement (to put it politely, which is more than what you did on your 2nd post ever on the site). Doc knows more about H3's than probably anyone you will find, here or anywhere else.

Actually there is one guy who posted on H4O, not the typical off the shelf kit. He got what i would call a franken lift. Colorado drop brackets, bds knuckles for an avalanche, real lift torsion relocators, avalanche hubs and brakes, colorado outer rods, h3 inners. Not ideal and according to him the knuckles and torsion adapters cost 1K alone. Id guess another 1K to get the hubs/braked and drop brackets.
