LED headlight bulbs

Any updates on LED bulbs for headlights? Your opinion matters. Looking for a plug and play option that gives of a decent pattern and without any moving parts, like cooling fans. Don't want to switch to HIDs. Need to be a little brighter than stock replacement bulbs without blinding oncoming traffic. I live in Canada so sometimes shipping is expensive. What to avoid and what works. If you have links to sites that would be great. Thanks. And go!

Found plug and play LEDs on eBay
Bought these fog lights:

I bought these a couple of years ago:

... and they are working fine so far. Light output is maybe a little better than stock, but otherwise very similar. I like the cooler white color (that isn't too blue) that these bulbs put out. The warmer yellow of the stock lights just makes the vehicle seem older. :) Installation was super easy... took me less than 10 minutes.

How do these function when in DLR (Daytime Running Lights) mode? Do they dim down, or are they full brightness all the time?

Is it an H13 equivalent bulb, or not. I'm already going round and round, with a seller, because the led diodes are not at the correct distance from the base. They look worse than the OEM bulbs.

Good question HALO. I've wondered that myself.

That may not be the exact set but the set of headlights I bought were H3 compatible. They've been working fine for over 6 months.

Since both Carlos and Chooch suggest the beamtech bulbs, I know what to look for. As for the foglights, they don't ship to Canada and I'll just see if I can find a seller that will ship them to Canada. Thanks Guys!

Hey, chooch. How are your bulbs clocked? I mean, how does the leds line up with the wide alignment tab on the base? I'm getting a really crappy beam pattern.

Never mind. I got it. Too many adjustment positions, and I finally figured out, you can be 180 degrees off. And, if you are, the high beams are really effed up.

These LEDs look good. And, now that I have the LEFT headlamp pointed correctly, (horizontally), I have two distinct beams. Instead of just one, pointing down the right side, of my side, of the road.

Good choice of LED headlights.

Thanks,
EJ

Sylvania Silverstar Ultras 9005, are good choice for the fogs. Or, go the LED equivalent, for a real bright Fog Show.
