Okay... I've read previous post, and mine might be similar, but maybe not.. Here goes... Drove 300 miles the day before, no problem, parked H3 in garage... This afternoon, I put key in ignition, and the Passlock sytem activated.. The warning icon appeared on the panel. From previous experience, I would let the H3 sit for about 10 minutes, and the I would be able to restart.... This time, I tried after a few minutes, and my Key became stuck.... No power whatsoever.... Now I'm wondering by coincidence, if my Battery is dead??? I disconnected the battery posts, and reconnected, thinking it would reset, with no luck..... Any help would be appreciated... My H3 is an 06, with original battery

 

My 07 did the same thing last weekend the battery was flat and would not hold a charge, had to replace it. Key problem solved they also wont come out of park to roll back in garage to get to the bonnet release, luck im slim built to squeeze between front of car and wall.

 

LOL.. Thanks Stubbsy, I feel alot better, and I have the same problem squeezing between the H3 to get to the Hood... Not a good place to be stuck, but then again, there could be worse places...

 

Sounds like a dead battery.

 

Do you have OnStar? They can run a diagnostic for you. If your under warranty they will send a serviceman to help you. I had the same problem.
