Default Jetchips MAF Sensor

Has anyone tried a the jet Mass Air Flow Sensor yet? I was thinking of getting the Jet stage2 chip + the MAF sensor + the Jet TBS. I have a Flowmaster muffler and True Flow intake. I would just like this I5 to put out a little more power.

I have not. The MAF on the 3 is built into the airfilter box outlet, so changing the MAF in and of itself is really just a change in voltage sent to the PCM, and altered by their "chip". You would be better off with a PCM tune and get the results direct, rather than "tricking" the PCM into thinking input variable are different than they actually are.

On an H2 (and some other GM V8s) changing the MAF can increase air flow because of the shape of the MAF "ring", not so with the 3.

Good luck if you go for it and let us know what you think if you do.

Thanks Doc I didn't realize that the MAF on the H3 didn't impead airflow. I have thought about the PCMforless but just never have got around to pulling my computer and sending it off. I wonder if it is worth it.

I can be brief. Once you do it, you will wonder WHY you waited so long!!!

I have it and I noiced a big difference. I put the Jet chip which goes between the computer and harness, throttle body spacer and the MAF sensor. I would definately recommend it.
