Interior Lighting Mods?

Interior Lighting Mods?
Has anyone done any of these mods? I've done the searches, and don't see much.
In particular, at night, when I turn off the H3, and open the door, the dome light does comes on.
However, as the light is toward the back, it doesn't shine on the door lock switches.
What I'd like to do is, find a way to have the door switches illuminate for awhile, just like the dome and headlights.
I, also, have an idea for creating my own 'puddle'/step lights that do the same thing. Thinking this might be the same connections?
While I'm on the subject, is it possible to change the "Delay Off" time for the headlights?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
EJ

Thanks, 2wheel. That's exactly what I was asking. If anyone has done this, before, on an H3.
Back in the day, when I was modding my Avalanche, we had all kinds of tricks like that. Jumper wire here, or a diode there, and blam. Most of those were done to the connectors on the fuse block. Or, in the case of some brake light mods, the rewiring was done behind the brake light assembly.
Anyway, just wondering if anyone has done anything like that>

Thanks, to Broken Halo, for some lighting mods...
His thread, https://www.hummerforums.com/forum/h...ighting-19234/
I installed a Dome/Reading Lights assembly, up front. One note, though. Instead of running the wires all the way around the sunroof to the rear assembly, I ran my wires to the harness located behind the Passenger A-Pillar.
Also, as he mentioned, the light doesn't come with a plug, and no one wants to buy a whole headliner. So, I found a plug on Ebay, https://www.ebay.com/itm/Auto-Extra-...72.m2749.l2649 . Another note, the wire colors are incorrect for the light assembly, as this is listed as a brake light switch connector. There are videos on YT showing how to remove the wires and change them around. On our H3's, you only need to switch the red and white. At least 2 of the three wires will be correct, and you can connect the red wire to the orange on the harness.
Thanks, for the idea Halo. I'm looking at putting some LED string lights under the hood, next.

Glad I could help. Now you can start on front https://www.hummerforums.com/forum/h...e2/#post224543 and rear https://www.hummerforums.com/forum/h...-lights-21911/ roof marker lights.
