Default Insurance Rates??

I recently purchased a h3 and called my insurance and my rates will drop $220 a year from a Highlander. I was very surprised. Anyone else experience this?

My insurancerates for my Hummer were lower than a 1998 Ford Explorer I used to have. The insurance agent told me that the rates were low because the Hummer is considered a very safe vehicle. My rates are only $50/month.

Holy Schnike! I thought I was getting hosed. In BC for a year FULL coverage, (basic, collision, comprehensive) it was only $1710 after safe driver discount. Thats more than I have ever paid before, but then, this is a little more expensive vehicle than I've ever owned.

You guys are getting ripped. I'm 31, have full coverage through Allstate, and pay around $400 every six months. Have any of you tried Geico? I used them for my motorcycle insurance and they were about 75% cheaper then anybody else, plus their customer service is excellent.

Your $1710 is enough to pay my homeowners insurance, full coverage insurance on both of my vehicles, and my motorcycle insurance for a year. Good grief insurance in Canada is expensive.

I bet you Dairyland has better motorcycle insurance rates than Geico. You should give them a call.
