Imogene Pass, Colorado
Has anyone taken their H3 over this pass. I went over several this last week and was told that an H3 was too wide for this pass from Ouray to Telluride. Just BS or can anyone give me some backup? I saw maybe 4 H3 this whole last week in this area. Why all of the FJ's and Jeeps and fewer H3's?

Somebody will be along to help you out. I know the Hummer Club holds events at both places so they have to be able to get from one to the other.

RE: Imogene Pass, Colorado
I havent taken Imogene Pass yet but am planning to do sonext weekend. I love the trails around Ouray. I looked on http://www.traildamage.com/and they rank Imogene a 2. I dont think you should have a problem. Make sure to check out Yankee Boy Basin and Engineer Pass. These both are great trails. On a side note if you live in Colorado I took Bill Moore Lake today which is rated difficult. The H3 did great except for tearing off the skid plate. This is the second time this has happened. I think the reason you didnt see more H3s is Ouray isthis town is known for being the "Jeep Captiol of the World".

Thanks for the information. I went to the top of Yankee Boy Basin last Sunday and it was pretty good. Let us know how your Imogene trip goes.
