How to troubleshoot and repair something that works

Okay, I've read and re-read the previous threads on low oil pressure warning lights at idle that only occur occasionally. A couple weeks back, I replaced the oil pressure sensor and performed an oil and filter change using a Duralast switch, Mobil 1 5w30 and a Fram oil filter. Then drove the 2006 H3 about 300 miles to southeast Georgia and back without any problems. Yesterday, the problem started re-occurring driving in city traffic on a very hot Florida Summer day with an ambient temp of 99 degrees. After sitting for 30 minutes, the truck drove about 45 minutes home without incident. It just doesn't do it all the time.

I've got to get this fixed as soon as possible to go on a hunting at the end of August. My question is, if the tech cannot positively pinpoint the problem, what parts would need replaced to absolutely fix the problem.

Also, let me ask, could it be a dirty throttle body that when the throttle is release quickly from a fast setting that the butterfly valve goes past its normal idle position and gets stuck in grime?

Thanks in advance.
