Home Depot Sale @$2 for 2.0 CU FT. I was going to go with my local supplier for delivery by the yard, however a huge increase this year to $49 a yard(27 CU FT) =13.5 bags which only costs $27 & fresh packed stock @HD.
I did a quick google search before heading out to pick up some mulch: Cargo volume with the second-row seats in the upright position is 25.0 cubic feet that can be expanded to a maximum of 62.8 cubic feet when the seats are folded down.
I don't have rear seats installed, purchased 33 bags=66 CU FT. & still had room for more back there.
Impressive. How bad was the rear sagging with all that in there?
NO SAG! I don't have rear seats/spare tire & mount/nerf bars. Weight for 2.0 bags-20lbs each x 33=660lbs. I positioned them from the back of the front seats to the cargo door. Driving with that baggage still had impressive 0-60.
i get a feeling i do not have enough shovels now lol
lol. I only have 10 now including my 2 snow shovels. I inherited most of them from my Father, Brother, & FIL, that passed within the last 10yrs(I did the clean out). Funny part, when I moved last fall to my new home, I had 2x shovels stored in a shed out back, instead of moving all them, I took my cordless circular saw and chopped the others in half and dropped them in the garbage can for curbside pickup. Btw, I also have 10 ladders (4ft to 24ft) which I found a way to wall mount using
.
2nd owner in 1970's home I'm renovating (original owner liked using nails and pegboards), thousands of holes in the drywall to repair using drydex spackling, many tubes of dynaflex caulk to repair seams/joints, over 40lbs of hydraulic cement(to repair cracks in the floor/wall slab, still have more to repair), 8 gallons of primer & paint, along new electrical with led flat panel lighting and a Werner attic ladder....etc.....
definitely a great indoor working space as opposed to my inclined drive way that just fits the H2. great for oil changes but nothing more past that city living at its best?

IMO, city living Svcks! I've performed many auto repairs on the city concrete driveway in the past. Getting too old for that now when it gets cold in the winter...Last home had a 1.5car detached garage, with all my tools inside, no room to pull in. Now have a 2.5car attached garage with 4 steps to the basement for more tool storage. I can now store all my tools with my H3 and wife's GMC in the garage.
WOW, Hummerz! That's a terrific garage and storage area you have. But, I have to ask you why you don't have a rear seat in your H3? Just wondering...
I recently hauled three live trees, three sacks of mixed soil and manure in Yellow Boy and I had to put the front passenger seat all the way forward, lay down the rear seat backs so I could put the top of the trees out the front passenger window! LOL

Thanks. Purchased this house on 8/1, and used my H3 to move all the contents from the city house to this country house 10miles apart, 1 trip a day along renovating the beds/baths/kitchen,etc, until I listed/sold the other house and moved in on 10/6. Installed an attic ladder and floor in the garage attic where the seats are now stored. I'm doing a complete renovation of this home and still using the H3 for hauling materials, and haven't needed the seats. Maybe when I'm done and the gas prices rebound for a family trip someday? In the meantime "out of sight out of mind".
