www.ddmtuning.com is where I buy all my HID's that I install for my vehicles and friends.

Find your bulb you need on www.sylvania.com or your owners manual. When you order your HID's be sure to add the optional relay harness.

As far as color goes, 4300k is what the luxury brands come stock with and the high on the Kelvin scale you go the more blue however the less light output.

You can either buy 35watt or 55watt kits from DDMtuning. a 35 watt 8000k kit will be pretty blue however a 55watt 8000k will be a little whiter because the high wattage washes out some of the color so keep that in mind.

They do have pictures of the different kelvin colors on that website so you can check that out. If you want blue then maybe a 55watt 10000k kit or a 35watt 8000k kit. It's all up to you.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

That's entirely up to you. The 55 watt kits are still fairly new and cheap enough for the general public. Years ago the only thing available were the 35watt kits but now all I install is 55watt kits as long as the housing permits.

They will generate A LOT more heat so if the light housing is smaller I won't use them for fear of melting the housing. However they do have a substantial amount of more light output that the 35watt kits. Really just preference.

I've ran the 55 watt kit from DDM tuning in my headlamps for approx a year. The headlamps are actually cooler with 55 watt HIDs than when I had OEM halogens, no damage or discoloration to the lens or reflectors. As for the fogs, ran 35 watts since I didn't want to bother with installing a relay and running wires from the battery to the fog lamp area. Btw, the way the light pattern from the fogs is ridiculous!

If you want a quality kit, go with morimoto kits from theretrofitsource, they are more than double the price of ddm kits, but the diff in quality is clearly noticeable. My 55watt ddm kit lasted 11 months before the fuse and wire melted on the relay, as for the fogs 1.5 years later they started malfunctioning. I've only had the morimotos for 2 weeks so can't give a proper review on that.

Finally, according to ddmtuning 55Watt at 10,000 k should be the same at 35 watt at 8000 k. Difference is, you get a relay with the 55 watt kit, which reduces risk of possible damage to OEM wiring (you get power directly from the battery)

Default Walter D. Robinson Phoenix replies:

35w with 6000k bulbs. 35w will not run as hot nor draw as much power as the 55w. 6000k bulbs are the color BMW, Mercedes, etc., put in their HID's. I put these in both my headlights and foglights. Huge improvement in lighting!
