It is possible to get a bad plug out of the box or damage one during installation. For example, the center conductor can be cracked internally while the outer ceramic housing looks perfect.

I dont know what was up with it but its running perfect with the champion double platnium. The ACDelco Irridium didnt work right. I found another post on here where someone was saying they used the ACDelco Irridium and it was running bad in their 2006. In the end they just put the old plugs back in. I dont see any damage to the plugs. There must be something different with the new models. Maybe they work for the 2.7l and not the 2.5l.

If you go to champions website and put the 2006 hummer h3 in the search they give you the double plats as the only option....

BUT if you put the 2007 in the search they give you the irridiums as an option.

There must be a reason champion doesnt recomend the irridiums for the 2006. I am thinking ACDelco should be the same.

Ok, same problem to me, I put new AcDelco Iridium Plugs and worked perfect, but I notice that the Gap was not set properly so I uninstall the Plugs, put the correct gap on them and reinstall...then I had the Idle Bump like you, only while idle and normally while cold only, is like the engine has a missfire for a moment and bump! occurs that you can notice in less than a second in all the car, the rpm gauge doesnt move or move a little..my solution, put the old (Iridium Spark Plug 41-103 too) plugs in it.

I suspect that during the gap of the Spark plugs I damage one..

Hope that this can help someone in the future.

Best Regards. Guerrero

Where did you buy the AC plugs from Iv heard of counterfeit plugs being sold at discount auto stores, And have seen them, Ill pay the difference and buy them from the steelership because the original plugs lasted 110000 so it is worth the 8 bucks each.
