Has anyone had problems with the transfer case Shift Fork?

If so what are some signs, today I realized that my 06 H3 203K+ will no longer shift into 4 low locked etc.

if you ever read threads here you will find millions of posts about the notorious plastic shift fork. well not millions but a lot!
just spend a minute searching and reading..
