Default H3 running Hot???

I just purchased a 2008 H3. The temperature gauge needle seems to always stay right above the mid way mark on really hot days. And even on the highway when you think air would be cooling it, it stays the same or gets hotter. All my other cars have always been just below half and stayed there. Is this an issue anyone else has experienced?

BTW: GM said the water pump, fans, and radiator are all good and working fine

I have an 08 with 21,000 miles on it and it does that to. Never gets hot just stays right in middle or just a air past on hot days. Probably is normal

Thats how these trucks run. It's actually not as hot as you would think. But right abouve the mid-mark is normal.

Just takes getting used to, Hot days mine regularly runs in the 3/4 range. Made me seriously nervous the first few months I owned it.

Mine runs like that. I'm in the Arab Emirates and its very very hot here this time of year (around 45C so above 110F). Needle goes just over half way and then stays. Sometimes if I'm going up a big hill it gets to around 3/4, but cools down when I come down the other side. So I wouldn't worry about it.

As said, it's the norm. Unless it's in the red, you're cool...no pun intended.
