Default H3 Genuine Off Road Lights

Hummer sold additional grill mounted and roof mounted off road lights for the H3 Hummer, I have obtained and fitted both to my 2007 H3.

Here are the lower grill lights:

And here they are fitted up:

With covers:

Without covers:

I have adjusted them to light up the sides of the road to spot any wild life or other hazards, find these great for isolated highways, country roads and off road driving.

Very bright for their size and fairly easy to install and wire up, fitted them myself in about 4-5 hours start to finish, could be done lot quicker second time around.

Very happy with them and would definitely not hesitate to fit them again. No regrets for these ones.

And a few more photos just because I can:

Will add my Off Road roof lights and more photos shortly

These roof mounted lights are a bit strange as they are not linked to the ignition, and will remain on even with the vehicle turned off and keys removed

I have heard reports of these being noisy and causing wind noise however I found that with the covers fitted they make no noise that I could notice, however with the covers removed they did make a bit of wind noise, nothing to worry about though.

Again they are very bright, but cause a bit of reflection and I found them no good for road use. I have adjusted them straight ahead, and off road they seem to be great as they do a great job of lighting up the track, they would also come in handy as work lights when setting up camp at night or doing recovery work, so I am very happy with them so far.

Overall I love the look of them (some people don't like the look, but we are not all the same), and I will be getting a fair bit of use out of them.

If anyone needs any questions answered about these feel free to post away

Do you have the part # for the switches/buttons? Ive seen aftermarket ones for a few bucks, but I would love to try to find a few of these.

Thanks,

You can get the grill ones in black as well even cheaper. I think I payed A$395 for the kit and black ones are A$295...so I really like the chrome

The grill lights are excellent, and should be factory fitted to these cars as standard.
