The AR-5 is rated to 260# of TQ, so that is not going to work either. It is not about what pictures look like, it is about what it is. The factory already swapped in the 5.3 LH8, it is called an Alpha, much easier to buy one of those. I do not know what you are thinking regarding E3 plugs, but they work for crap in the Coil on Plug UHEI used in the GM Atlas line.... and spark plugs do not make power. |

If I bought V8 Alpha with 5.3 & 4L60E.. If I planned to convert to manual trans, what manual transmissions can you suggest ?? Please name 2 or three trans can fit the 5.3 V8....

Why spend all that time and money on something that ain't broke?? Second, I have no idea why you would want to wheel with a standard other than preference.

Has anybody done this yet? I am planning on going boating again and I really hate to go out and buy another vehicle, I love my H3. My daughter wants it and I have thought about trying to find a Alpha, but I have always had something different and that would be perfect and I could pull a 27 powerquest with no problem.

OK, what about NV4500 manual transmission taken from Silverado or Sierra 2500HD 6.0, 5.7 or 7.4 (models: 2000-2006) or (1988-1999)???
