Default H3 Bad Ride After Leveling Kit

I just added a Bilstein leveling kit on my wife's 2009 H3. This was a trail duty kit with Bilstein 5100 shocks and extended bump stops. The bump stops were installed with about a 1/4" of gap. After having the vehicle aligned the overall ride is very rough and near impossible to keep in a single lane of traffic. The tires are 33" Nito Terra Grapplers.

Any help would be appreciated.

I believe they set it at 23.5"

The drivers bump stop is about 1/4" above the lower control arm while passenger side is resting on the control arm.

What is the max from the center of the axle to fender?

Should I have the dealer reset the leveling kit and then realign?

Does the dealer use the factory alignment setting for an 09 hummer or do they compensate for the raised front?

Get out your tape measure and take the center cap off of each of the front wheels. Measure from the center of the large bolt in the middle to the bottom of the fender. The most you will want it is 23 1/2" and you want them to be within 1/8" of each other. If it's over the 23 1/2" have them redo it. If it's under 23" or less have them redo it. If it is not even (within 1/8") have them redo it. I'm sure you paid through the nose for the install and alignment so you might as well get it done right. If they do redo it then have it aligned again.

It sounds like your rig is not even with one of the a-arms having a space and the other not.

Also make sure your tires are not overinflated. 34-38 psi should be in them depending on the tire size.

PS: I wouldn't take my HUMMER to a dealer for mod work. They are the most expensive place you can go. Take it to a local shop that is known for quality work or a chain who is known for quality work. Dealers are for warranty work or work that a local shop or chain can't do.
