Default H3 6 in lift, 37 in tires

Hey so i bought an H3 a few months ago that has prove alloy wheels and 32 in tires with a leveling kit but idk how many inches but i wanted to swap it out. i would love to have a 4 to 6 in lift with 37 in mud or trail grapplers but i don't know anything about it like changing the drive shafts and all. what exactly would i need to do to have that lift and actually take it off road?

You should look into the Rancho 4" lift and go with 35" mud terrains.

Why do you want a lift?

Do you know 35's will fit stock?

Do you know 37's will fit with a 1" body lift?

What model do you have? Adventure? Alpha?

What Muddy said... Alot of us wheelers run 35s on nothin more than a leveled front end... (no you dont need a leveling kit either!)

There's options out there, rancho being one. However all it does is keep your stock angles up front the same. And you HAVE to get new wheels if your gonna run it... Still only allows up to 37" tires. You would prob want to re gear if you go 37s...

And to nip this before it comes up, the H3s are true 4x4s, get bad gas milage as is, and if you add larger tires that will decrease your mpgs even more!!!

Looks like you have wheel spacers?

okay thanks.. yeah i have 32 in tires on there now and i do have wheel spacers. I've been looking into it more and i think I'm deciding on a 4 in lift and 35s, taking the leveling kit off. i don't really care about the gas mileage much either

Hi,
I just bought an H3, has stock wheels, and I'm thinking of lifting it 1.5inches and would like to add 37's. but i just got scared when you said we need to re-gear.
is there a kit for that? any transmissions guy can do it? Why is it important?

Thank you so much!
