H3 38 inch tires .....
Well, ive ordered my wheels and tires.
38x15.50 Toyo Open Country MT
20x10 Moto Metal 951 Chrome
Should i invest in a matching spare? Too much weight for rear door? too much weight for roof? (@160lbs)
Are there any upgraded tie rods like bullet proof that dont cost $850?
please only answer if you have had experience with around these size of tires and have first-hand knowlege. thank you for your answers/comments!

My $.02............
get a used 35" spare so you can carry it on the rear door............ If you ever have to use it, make sure to put it on the rear axle. Like if you had a donut.
I ran 38" tires on a Jeep for 3 years. You do not want to be taking a 38" rim and tire combo off your roof . And I don't think a 38" tire will fit the rear door. A 35" will.

I see you did a lot of research and you ended up buying some of the heaviest 38" tires made, and some really heavy rims. NOW you are asking about a spare?
Also, you spent over $3000 on your rimz and tires but you don't want to spend $800 on critical steering components? You are killing me here!
Hope you have an Alpha. Cause that thing ain't gunna move out of it's own way? Also your front diff isn't going to like you very much if you don't have an Alpha or an 09-10 Adventure package I5!

Well that should increase your braking distance about 150%. Good job being a danger to everyone else on the road.
While your looking for tie rods you will probably also want to invest in just about every other part related to the front end.
I5 and 38's...... HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA
Ha.
For some reason I suddenly have the Flintstones theme song stuck in my head.

Yikes!!
That's quite a wheel/tire combo. If you don't want to beef everything up properly, you may want to consider cutting your costs now by choosing a different (lighter) combo. As the others have said, that will kick the I5's *** and be a load for braking.

With these trucks, if you do not have the same size spare, you do not have a usable spare.

dang, your right. Like I said. I'v been in jeeps for a while. It works in a jeep because you can disconnect the front drive.
