I had this error and the only way I got rid of it was to wash up under the truck with a high pressure washer, paying particular attention to up around the fuel take. i was told their was a sensor their. Never saw the sensor, but it fixed my error.

Just wanted to share that I had this same issue almost exactly at 100k miles. sprayed some silicone on the rubber gasket and "massaged" it in till all grit and grime was gone. Working fine for over 2 mos now.

Onstar is great for its ability to read your codes and explain to you what the codes mean.
