Front Torsion Lift
Hi! I have a 2007 H3. I would like to level the front with the rear of the truck. How high do I need to lift the front end? I am looking to do this via the torsion bars. I’ve read that I should put shocks on after doing this. As such, I am also looking for recommendations as to the shocks I should use after I raise the front end. Thank you for your help!!! |
I can see this is your first post so I will be easy on you.;)
PLEASE, use the "SEARCH" function at the top of EVERY HF page. Type in "Torsion" "Bar" "Adjustment" "Crank" and 100s if not 1000s of posts on this will appear. |
Welcome to HF.
You do not need to put shocks on just because you adjusted the T Bars for lifting the front. If you need more info on shocks, search that and then ask questions as there are a bazillion threads on that topic as well. Max height is 23.5" from fender lip to hub center, so you can tighten the T Bars any amount you want up to that 23.5". Take a breeze through this FAQ thread.... keep in mind that 23.5" mark.... this FAQ threads is old and people started breaking chit any higher than that over time. Torsion lift - Pics and How To |
