Front end rattle - solved
 

Today I drove my truck to the shop, and when it was up on the lift, I saw immediately that the rubber on the drive shaft (the far end of the drive shaft - going to the back wheels) is totally messed up.

The finished replacing the drives haft about one hour ago, and all the rattling is 100% gone.

This is the second time the drive shaft has been replaced, and I've done only 19,000Km.

Is there a know issue with this?

It's not allways good to be the first one with a problem :(

Haven't seen/heard that. I've thrashed the u-joint on the front prop shaft, on the end towards the front and away from the transfer case.

I would just get it fixed with aftermarket u-joints...stockers suck.
