Briefly looked into this late and what I was able to find was not all that promising. BBB And numerous user reviews and articles didn't do much to instill faith either. Was thinking gf's b day was coming as is Christmas.

Chris

Ps ill just keep the cash.

I'm not really a fan of extended warranty's.
To me it like gambling.

Do you put money up front and hope you get to fix something to justify the warranty. (or chalk it up as an insurance expense)

Or

Do you put money aside each month for a repair kitty and if you don't have any major repairs to pay for then you still have your $$$$. (my method)

I have heard may stories about warranty companies fighting you about repairs too.

I bought the 7 year 56k GM warranty for $2000 when I bought the car new in 2009. It now has 33k miles and I still have not used it.

I like the way Bunger thinks. I never buy extended warranties on anything (appliances, vehicles, machines, equipment, tools), just a waste of $$ IMHO.

My dad was a GM at a couple different dealerships over the years way back when, we talked about what a $$ maker they were for the dealerships and what crappy coverage you are actually getting as the customer. So far, never ever needed one, some piddly thing breaks you just fix it yourself and move on.
