Engine rattle at idle
Hello my engine no longer stalls with all the things that I’ve done (I hope) but the idle falls down Below the 600 medium and the rattle is something crazy! I Give it some gas up to 700 it’s fine. I know there’s no way to adjust island needs vehicles that I know of is there something I’m missing During my cleaning?
H3 133k miles
cleaned MAF assembly and sensor
replaced spark plugs, gaps are good
ran 3 cans of Techron through over several weeks following instructions
get about 11 miles to the gallon....runs great on the highway though

Truck look good.
The easy common rattles are from the exhaust heat shield (under the hood over the exhaust manifold) and the CAT heat shield. Check those, give them a bend away from making any contact if you haven't already.

Good call Doc, the heat shield comes appart where the screw is that hold the shield down over the manifold check all the screws around that area and tighten and as Doc said bend it away should solve the problem. There is also a good You tube video on this noise.

Rattles come in all sorts of forms like the one listed above. Have you cleaned the throttle body? Also try changing your fuel. Buy it from a different brand. We just switched to winter gas here in Canada and now there is all kinds of rattles coming from my H3.

I would say only thing you missed was taking off the throttle body and cleaning that. so give that a try as well. Also keep in mind try not to move the butterfly valve or if ya do, do it slowly and carefully and there is a relearn procedure it will need to go thru as well after your done and start it back up for the first time.
