hello yall
so here is my issue. i own a 2006 hummer h3, i have never had any problems with it until recently. i went to go to town the other day and i started the beast and noticed the locks and driver side window would not work. after some research i found all the little "tricks" to try , i tried everything from taking the positive off the battery to checking and changing fuses, still no luck. so i bought a new master switch. that fixed some of the problems. the window and locks work with the vehicle started or the key in the ignition, which doesnt do me any good to lock the doors with the key in the ignition as you all know it will unlock its self. so the issue i have is the fact that with the vehicle powered off the lock button in the door will not work also the key fob will not lock the doors either. you can hear the relay click but still not locking. if anyone can help that would be awesome i am stressing to the max over this issue!!!!

 

dont know, but the controller is a module in the driver door sw assm. where all the buttons are.
not to hard to get to it so you might unplug/plug it back in and see??

 

could be a faulty window switch, have you tried to get a warranty replacement on the switch?

 

theres more than switches and master switches in the h3 driver door.
the solid state module is usually involved in malfunctions. you might update your site diagnosis of window problems.
some have unplugged and repluged it to reset.
