Default Door hand covers

Hi,
I am looking to add door handle covers (chrome)...I have done quite a bit of research and noticed there is a fairly large price difference ($120's - $350 for the set)...Any advice on which brand to go with? Should it be aluminum or could I get away with the plastic chrome (Like Putco)? The vehicle is a 39 month lease so I really didn't want to put a ton of $ into it, yet I do want it to look good (do like chrome look)
Thanks,
Machines

Yes the GM factory ones are plastic. But they are inexpensive and look OK. Metal chromed ones would be awesome, but they are a little pricey.

I ordered the Putco ABS chromed covers off ebay. They look factory and come with the good red 3M tape. Should last a loooong time, under $100.

Same with the mirror covers. I just couldn't stomach paying double for the factory kit which I believe is put on by the dealer anyway.

Same for my roof rack and nerf bars, I saved a sh*tload buying the aftermarket, add it all up I had saved enough to buy a catback exhaust and then some...

I went to the dealer and got my chrome door handles, the exact same ones that come on the chrome package - 5 handles for $100 + tax...the mirrors are another story, they wanted $279ish for 2 chrome mirrors...so in that case I may do the sick ons for $80 from ebay. I figure if people are willing to pay almost $100 or even more in some cases for stick ons I should have no problem selling the handles for what i bought them for when I turn the truck in.
