Default Does off-road option include 4:1 t-case?

ok H3 experts i need some help. i've researched several forum threads here and asked several dealership clowns and can't find the exact answer to my question.
i'm shopping for a "new to me" 2007-2008 H3. i love the adventure package because of the rear locker, 4:1 t-case, suspension upgrades etc. but...i also want to spoil myself with the heated leather seats and the sunroof of the Luxury package.
so my question is if i find a 2007-2008 H3 Luxury with the Off-road option added does it also have the 4:1 transfer case like the Adventure or just the off-road suspension and rear locker?

not to sound like a jerk but please dont post if you dont know for sure....i've already recieved several "i think it's....blah blah blah" answers from 'salesmen' at old Hummer dealerships and i want to know for 100% fact before i dump $25k on a vehicle.

thanks
chad

The Off Road Package and Adventure Package are the same thing, just different names for the I5 and V8. The package for the 3.5L / 3.7L I5 was called the Adventure Package and the package for the Alpha 5.3L V8 was called the Off Road Package. They both include rear locker, off road suspension, 33" tires and 4:1 transfer case. The 09-10 models include the addition of a front locker.

i've done a lot of research and i know what the Adventure trim package is for the I5 and the offroad package for the Alpha and the addition of the front locker in '09. my specific question was if you were to buy a 2007 or 2008 I5 Lux package with the off-road add does it inlcude the 4:1 transfer case? i've been told by a local dealer that ONLY the full on Adventure trim H3's included the 4:1 transfer case and the Luxury package with the off road add only inlcuded the suspension upgrades and rear locker.

anyone know if this is the case?

Your "dealer" is incorrect (completely wrong).

I'm with Tainter, Adventure or offroad they both have and are the same.
If still in doubt, take the VIN of the vehicle you are going to buy to you GM parts dept and ask them what T case your specific vehicle has. The VIN will tell what T case the vehicle has. The parts dept can also print out the build sheet for any GM vehicle from the VIN. Hope this helps and good luck.

Not to thread-jack, but, speaking of 'build sheet', has anyone ever come across theirs while working on their H3? I know the factory stashes them in various nooks and crannies, on top of the fuel tank, under the carpeting, etc., of a vehicle when they're built, and I'd like to find mine. Thanks!

If you couldn't get the answer from my post, then let me answer your question directly then. There is NO OFF ROAD PACKAGE in 2007 other then the Adventure Package. There is a Off Road Package in 2008 but it is only available on the Alpha 5.3L V8 models. Both the Off Road Package and Adventure Package have 4:1 T-Case. If your dealer is telling you an I5 has an "Off Road Package", they are wrong because they were only available on the Alpha models. If it has an I5 and has a switch on the dash for the rear, its an Adventure Package.

I took my VIN into local GM dealer parts dept and asked them to print one out for me. No problem.
