RE: Daytime Running Lights...
I don't hate them..But I wish I had a choice if I wanted the auto feature ON or not as a default...I think the only way, would to be replace the switch for one that stays in the OFF position and not spring back to AUTO.

if you find the +12volt wire going to the lights cut it and run both wires to a toggle switch, one wire to one leg of the switch, other wire to the other leg, then you have total control with the new switch.

RE: Daytime Running Lights...
my bad, I read running lights and for reason I thought you meant the overhead amber clearance lights....oops.
on my h3 my regular headlight bulbs come on as DRL's, kind of annoying and BAD ON BULBS!!! I made the mistake of going to a higher wattage yellow plasma bulb and after 2 months of bieng on whenver the dumb thing is in gear the entire headlight wiring harness/plug melted. I had to cut the wires and make a new one.

Then at dark, the headlights come on..then if you drive into daylight the headlights goes off and just the amber running lights stay on..Unless you cancel the whole default program by turning the Switch to off monentarily.
