Clunking after Accelerating from a coast...?
#12
I wonder.. do you think it would be okay to drive with for a while? It seems like a lot of people have been having the problem and make it seem like its no big deal. I just freaked out because its such a rough clunking.

I am experiencing this noise as well, however it has progressively gotten worse of the past few days. Now when I move from N to D the clunk is very loud. Good news, that allowed me to locate the noise. Passenger side of front diff has a mounting bracket with bushing that is totally gone. Price is $100 from dealer because it comes with bushing and bracket. Hope to locate an aftermarket bushing only for less.

I think the OEM replacement should be around 300 to 400 though, and yes, they replace the entire cross member that has the bushing that supports the front diff.
