need to use my key . need to change the key lock assm.

I cant find anything in search.
has anyone changed an entire door or had one off/ back on?

im actually afraid ill end up locked out!

ive looked in the manual but its really not clear.
help...

edit, ive been searching and just find nothing relating to doors,,,in any way!!

yes,,,,

in order to install a new door from another h3 without a key I need to install my old lock so I can use my ignition key to open the door if necessary as I have for years huh!!

ive got it open completely,still hanging, ready to pull off, but I wont change it till I know I can get in with a key.
after 3 hrs I have no clue how to get at the lock assm.
I cant get gthe chrome cover offc the handle,fearing ill break it.
I paid hundreds to get the gm manuals,,,worthless in this case.

my next step is my air powered metal cutting tool. ill take out a chunk of sheet metal covdering thre lock/handle assm...don't know what else..

btw,with the door unplugged,NOTHING UNLOCKS!!!,so without the driver door module or a key, you break the cheapest window. theres o way in.
