Default Camshaft Position Actuator

Hey all,
Wanted to say thanks in advance as I've gotten a lot of great info off this site. Rover (my H3's name) started idling really rough on the way home, eventually the engine light came on.
Took it to AutoZone and they read code 14 so I bought the camshaft position sensor they had in stock, and ordered the camshaft/crankshaft position actuator which will be here in the morning. Pulled my old one (which is located right by the left wheel of the engine belt on the left side near the front in case anyone is wondering) and one of the three screens was missing. A small chunk of mangled screen remained.

I'm doing an oil change in the morning. Is there anything else I should do? I'm worried about metal in the engine.
Thanks!

Right on that you got it remedied quickly! IMO while your under there (depending on year/mileage) might as well take off your TB and MAF (MAF cleaner only), clean them up. Sucker will run like new!!!

In regards to metal in the engine im not sure!
