biggest tires that fit a stock h3 rim

I have a question what is the biggest tire I can fit on a stock h3 rim
I have the stock 265/75 r16 but I wanna go more aggressive but still arrestable
Because it is still my daily drive.

315/75's(35") will fit. I replaced my 265's with 315 Nitto terra Grapplers on my wifes H3(her daily driver) and it rides fine. I did the spare too.
I did crank the torsion bars up a little to level it out but they cleared at stock height.

Why would it not be level if you put 4 of the same tire on if it was level with the 4 you took off? Just asking because they are the same tires that I am going with

T Bar leveling has nothing to do with tires. Stock H3s have the front set lower than the rear from the factory which was to increase fleet fuel mileage and meet safety standards for bumper height alignment in crashes with other automobiles. That is adjustable through the Torsion Bars so the front can be lifted to near 100% level the front and rear.

Thanks for clearing that up. You were talking about putting on the 35" tires and then saying that it had to be leveled up I was just wondering why they would throw it off level.LOL
I went with the 315 Nitto terra Grapplers just yesterday and so far I'm liking what I'm seeing and have no noticable road noise.

Yeah well...I want road noise...I want the RIO next to me on the highway to cringe in fear because the tires are so loud....lol.

I will probably go with Firestone Destination AT or MT...big difference in price between the two.

I would rethink the Destination M/Ts for rain or IN winters. Not a single sipe in that tire:eek:. You will need an A/T or M/T with plenty of siping for those rainy and icy days.
