Default Availability of Manual Transmission

Just wondering if anyone has any idea how many manual H3Ts were sold in the US. I'm on the hunt for a 2010.

Haha, good luck with that.

In all of 2010 there were only 945 H3T's ever produced... 849 of which were part of a rental fleet order and most likely all automatic. That leaves approximately 48 alpha's (which are V8 and no manual) and 48 base and adventure packages with the 5cylinder engine.

If you take into account that less than 4% of all H3T's with 5 cylinders were equipped with a manual transmission... that means there are approximately (2) two 2010's with manual transmissions out there somewhere (Canada or the US). Now that, is seriously rare.

In total if you follow the approximate breakdowns there is only approximately 56 H3T's in all of Canada and the US. So even getting your hands on a 2009 is going to be a challenge!

Good Luck with finding a 2010 Manual H3T! Like Sugar said above we don't even know if they made; Any or 1 or 2 the entire 2010 H3T production.

Is there any special reason you want a 5 speed manual H3T? We have an 09 (I love it) and I was just wondering what your motovation was. My wife wants an Alpha Automatic now due to rush-hour traffic everyday so It may be up for sale coming up.

I much prefer driving standard to automatic, and currently own a 2007 H3 in 5-speed. I'd be OK with finding a 2009 with a 5-speed, but I know there weren't even too many of those around.

From what I heard there were roughly 11 H3T 5 speed Adventures made with the "special" transfer case. I have a 2009 H3T 5 speed Adventure pkg, factory nav, backup cam, bluetooth, tow pkg, bed cover, brush guard on the black steel wheels. I added K&N intake, ported TB, Rocky Road rails, Hunner skids, Bilstein 5100's,trailduty bumpstops, Readylift 3" keys/shackles. Workin a couple other things for it now!

IMHO - manual for strictly road driving, auto for offroad. I do not like wheeling with a manual. However, I have seen a white I-5 H3t with manual and I believe Adventure package that was clearly setup for wheeling. As rare as manuals are, I have only seen 4 H3Ts in person, including mine, and one was a manual and another was an Alpha.

I prefer the manual for offroadin, you control the gear and the power, it really shines on going down hill with engine braking, saves the brakes and doesn't upset the chassis.

When I looked for mine in early 2010 there were two manual trans H3T's for sale in Richmond Virginia. You may want to check Craiglist in that area. It was unusual to see them in March 2010 in the same lot.
