That might just work….

Been slow on the updates, but here is what has been happening.

Upgraded all the bulbs to white light style ones on the H3, head lights and OEM Roof lights, fog lights the lot, best bang for buck for lighting IMO, the light bar is fitted up and working, great for night driving, another great addition.

Since the H3 does a LOT of towing over long distances, of car trailers for my race car and horse floats for my daughters horse, I was sick of the rear sagging under load, so fitted up adjustable air bags to the back for towing. Yet to tow with them, will be doing a 1600km return trip with the car trailer over xmas, so will see how it goes.

Have also dropped the front t bars back to an even 22.5" hub to fender, will see how that goes, had it at 23.5" but I think I like it better at 22.5" will leave it there for a while and see. so basically I have settled for 22.5" at the front and 23.75" at the rear, which appears to be standard ride height now, back used to be at 24" but seems to be about a ¼" lower now.

While installing the air bags I noted the exhaust is cracked and leaking and I could hear it before that anyway, but seeing it confirmed it, looking at fitting a Magnaflow cat back to it soon. Any feed back on the system?? Also thinking about fitting the matching headers, have contacted Magnaflow today just awaiting reply as to suitability.

No photos as we are on slow internet but will upgrade with photos shortly.

Any photos of Magnaflow exhaust installed would be appreciated and any feed back on sound in the 3.7 litre I5

Have competed the air bag install, can't wait to do some towing now.

The air bags can easily raise the rear past 25", however I have decided the tow height to be 23.5", and the front will ride at 22.5".

Will have to now complete my trailer suspension set up, as I now know what height my H3 will ride at regardless of load, the trailer is riding a bit high at the moment giving it a funny rake.

You can sort of see it here, but it is actually worse in real life, the front of the trailer running down hill to meet the tow bar so will lower the trailer slightly so it sits perfectly level with a 23.5" rear ride height:
